in 2006 Airbus established a substantive, permanent commercial presence in the region and opened the Airbus Middle East subsidiary in the Dubai Airport Free Zone. Airbus reached out to tentwenty to help create a platform that allowed global distribution of the Asfaar by Airbus Newsletter, which was currently being sent as hardcopy documents, in a smart, digital and efficient way.
the purpose of the Asfaar newsletter is to inform Airbus customers about its presence and ongoing activities in the region, provide news updates and showcase its range of products and services. it also includes a message from the CEO, interesting facts and details on monthly aircraft deliveries.

in bringing the Asfaar newsletter to life digitally, a flexible CMS was essential for supporting different types of content - image, video or statistic driven stores, and enabling visual and text-based content to be clearly defined and presented.
in moving the newsletter from print to digital, we completely transformed the reader experience thanks to the flexibility built into the CMS. articles now range from image, video or statistic-driven and allow for image galleries or full screen videos to be played. text and visual content is clearly differentiated and related articles are clearly displayed and linked by article tags. statistic-based articles are brought to life via a statistics module that automatically generates interactive pie charts, graphs or maps from an uploaded excel file.
these are stylishly showcased with information easy to view. the scheduled monthly aircraft deliveries are visually depicted with a detailed archive search also available.
newsletter delivery has been streamlined, digitized and enhanced with a simple click of a button dispatching the newsletter and a detailed on-site analytics tool providing information on receipt, open and click rates.
