    The UAE Year Of is a nation-wide initiative that brings together individuals, government entities, companies and more under an annual theme that highlights national priorities. For 2024 the theme was ‘Sustainability’ and it required a website that shared insightful and inspiring information in a user-friendly way, explained the UAE’s sustainability journey and encouraged visitors to get involved in supporting the initiative.

    an immersive website to inform, engage, and inspire action

    we opted for a clean, refined design that enabled eye-catching imagery, essential information and inspiring stories to be the heroes of the website. a vibrant, yet minimal color palette enhances the interactivity of changing color blocks as users navigate across content. we integrated ticker feeds to further draw attention to key tools, events and components of sustainability, while an interactive timeline highlighted the history of the UAE Year Of and its previous themes.

    at tentwenty we believe in building collaborative, long-term partnerships with our clients, and the SHF Foundation is one of the greatest examples of this. the UAE Year Of website is an SHF Foundation project, and one of several we have worked on with them. Other successful projects we have collaborated on include websites for the UAE Pavilion Expo 2025 and Eid Al Etihad.
